Day 1- 18/09/2014 As my 25 things to do before 25 list starts today, it makes sense for me to start my photo a day, for 365 days today. It’s also the date 3 years ago when I first decided to do the challenge (and didn’t complete it). Side note: today is my 24th Birthday :) I bought this novelty calendar momento thingy on my holiday to Bodrum-Turkey in August this year. I love buying souvenirs from abroad and saw this in a shop on the last day of my holiday. It was sitting on a shelf with the date set as today’s, and it being my birth date, I immediately decided it would be one of the souvenirs I took home with me. (Even though I don’t celebrate my Birthday and I literally spend it like any other day of the year). Now I’m missing my holiday!

One of the things on my list is to start AND complete a 365 day challenge. I started a Photo A Day challenge on 18th September 2011 (the start of this blog, hence the title) but I didn’t complete it, I think I did ~200 days.
I started again on 1st January 2014 but only lasted about a month.
This time, I’m hoping it’s third time lucky and I am going to complete my 365 days of photographs!

25 Things To Do Before I’m 25

I write this on the 17th September 2014.

A day before my 24th Birthday.

Basically the day before I enter the 25th year of my life.

The last 24 years have *mostly* been spent in some sort of formal education. I first started nursery in January 1994, at the age of 3 and 4 months. Since then, I’ve been through 6 years of Primary School, 5 years of Secondary School (best.times.ever), 2 years of College studying A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Sociology), 4 years of University (studying for a Masters in Pharmacy) and worked 1 year as a Pre-Registration Pharmacist; at the end of which I had to pass an incredibly difficult Exam to FINALLY qualify as a Pharmacist in July 2014.

So, I’d say about 88% of my life.

Now that all the formal studying with essays and exams is eventually over (I hope!), it’s time I can focus on myself and other parts of my life and do what I actually enjoy doing.

Time to move on from everything in the past and concentrate on improving myself. So cliche, I know, but for someone likes me who overthinks and overanalyses everything, moving on and adapting to change is the hardest thing ever.

I have written the list of 25 things, and I plan to post things as I tick them off. Or I might just post them all together at some point. Or maybe at the end of the year. I haven’t decided yet.

Bismillah, here’s to a new year insha'Allah.
